WHY MINNESOTA: "I have always wanted to play Division I in a Power Five conference program. After coach Casey reached out to me, I researched the baseball program and the University. I was really impressed and decided to make a visit in January to see the real Minnesota winter and know what it would be like to play ball in a cold weather environment. The indoor practice facility was amazing and the fact that Minnesota often leads the Big 10 in hitting was very encouraging. I then met coach Anderson and it sealed the deal, because he is a very respected coaching legend that everyone talks highly of. After speaking with several players and hearing of how much they enjoyed playing in the program, I knew the UofM would be a great place to play and get a quality education."
