WHY MINNESOTA: "I grew up watching the Gopher sports teams. I can remember at a young age going to the Dairy Queen Classic to watch the Gophers at the Metrodome. I have always wanted to be a Gopher and I am excited to wear the maroon and gold. When it came time to visit the Minnesota campus, and specifically learn more about what it would take to become a Gopher baseball player, I was welcomed in by the coaching staff and it was a positive experience from the start. Everything from the camps to the campus tour made the recruiting process enjoyable. I truly felt that the coaching staff cared about me as a person first and baseball player second. Like Coach Anderson says, they are getting us ready for the next 50 years of our life. I feel like the University of Minnesota will give me an outstanding education. Becoming a Gopher Baseball player is a dream come true. I am very excited for the next chapter of my life to begin."
