WHY MINNESOTA: "I chose the University of Minnesota because there is a very special thing about being able to wear the name of your home state across your chest and represent the university that your dad played at. I also chose Minnesota because of the connections and bonds that I formed with the coaches. When I had my first calls with coach Ty McDevitt, it felt as if he did not just care about me as a baseball player, but also as a person. Lastly, I chose Minnesota because of the strong academics and connections that the University offers."
