Appeared in every game, with seven starts - scored two points, one rebound and an assist against Louisville (11/14) - posted four points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal vs. Western Kentucky (11/18) - scored eight points, four rebounds, two blocks and two assists against Franklin Pierce (11/20) - scored six points and three rebounds vs. UMBC (11/22) - scored three points, one steal and a rebound at St. John's (11/26) - was 3-for-3 from behind the arc for nine points and added a rebound vs. Georgia (11/28) - grabbed two rebounds at Wake Forest (12/2) - scored two points with a rebound against North Dakota (12/8) - contributed seven points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal vs. Southern (12/10). - recorded four points, three assists and two rebounds in career-high 24 minutes vs. Seattle (12/19) - scored 13 points, two rebounds and two assists vs. UNCW (12/27) - scored five points with two rebounds and a block at Maryland (1/3) - made first career start and pulled down three rebounds vs. Iowa (1/13) - recorded two points and two rebounds vs. Rutgers (1/17) - scored three rebounds and two points against Illinois (1/24) - scored six points, five rebounds and a block at Penn State (1/28) - sank a 3-pointer and grabbed a rebound against Purdue (2/7) - scored seven points, four rebounds and two steals at Iowa (2/12) - recorded six points and five rebounds at Indiana (2/15) - scored seven points, three rebounds and an assist against Northwestern (2/18) - was perfect from the field, scoring six points with three rebounds and a steal at Wisconsin (2/21) - scored five points, two rebounds and two assists in win over Rutgers (3/11 - BTT).

Appeared in 16 games in a reserve role - played two minutes in his collegiate debut against Lehigh (11/8) - scored his first collegiate points against Montana (11/12) - picked up his first career blocks (2) in nine minutes off the bench against Wofford (11/21) - played two minutes and recorded an assist in win over Indiana (2/8) - scored career-high 13 points, including 3-for-3 from beyond the arc, and added three rebounds and a steal in win over Iowa (2/25) - scored three points and added thre rebounds at Michigan (3/1) - pulled down a career-high four rebounds with an assist vs. Florida State (4/1 - NIT).

2012-13:
Did not play in a game this season - redshirted.

High School:
Attended Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, Va.) during the 2011-12 school year - previously graduated from Martin High School (Arlington, Texas) with a 3.7 GPA - Hargrave finished the 2011-12 season as the national runner-up with a 38-1 record - Buggs scored 15 points in the championship game - averaged 11.4 points in 15 games as a senior at Martin - averaged 18.9 points and 6.3 rebounds as a member of the Triumph White AAU team in summer 2011 - National Spanish Honor Society member - Principal's Award recipient.

Son of David and Terri Buggs - born April 3, 1993 - has one brother, Clayton - enrolled in the College of Education and Human Development - major is sports management.
