2015-16  |  Junior Season:

Appeared in 28 games, including 21 as a starter - finished second in field goal percentage (.462), third in free throw shooting (.769) and 3-point shooting (.319)  and sixth in scoring (5.9 ppg) - tallied double-figure scoring six times - scored nine points, four rebounds, two blocks and two assists in season opener vs. UMKC (11/13) - posted eight points and a career-high six rebounds with one block and a steal vs. ULM (11/15) - pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds and added nine rebounds, one block, a steal and an assist vs. Temple (11/19) - posted eight points, two rebounds, one assist and a steal vs. Missouri State (11/20) - scored 10 points with a rebound vs. Texas Tech (11/22) - scored eight points, eight rebounds three assists and two steals vs. Omaha (11/27) - poured in career-high 15 points along with four rebounds, two assists and a steal vs. Clemson (11/30) - scored 12 points, six rebounds and a block vs. South Dakota (12/5) - scored team-high 14 points with six rebounds, one block and a steal vs. Chicago State (12/16) - posted three points and three rebounds with an assist at Penn State (1/5) - scored six points, one rebound and a steal vs. Indiana (1/16) - scored five points, five rebounds, one assist and a steal vs. Illinois (1/23) - scored seven points, two blocks and two rebounds vs. Purdue (1/27) - scored 13 points with three steals, two rebounds and an assist at Rutgers (3/5) - scored team-high 12 points with three rebounds vs. Illinois (3/9 - BTT).

Appeared in 16 games in a reserve role - played two minutes in his collegiate debut against Lehigh (11/8) - scored his first collegiate points against Montana (11/12) - picked up his first career blocks (2) in nine minutes off the bench against Wofford (11/21) - played two minutes and recorded an assist in win over Indiana (2/8) - scored career-high 13 points, including 3-for-3 from beyond the arc, and added three rebounds and a steal in win over Iowa (2/25) - scored three points and added thre rebounds at Michigan (3/1) - pulled down a career-high four rebounds with an assist vs. Florida State (4/1 - NIT).

2012-13:
Did not play in a game this season - redshirted.


High School:

Attended Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, Va.) during the 2011-12 school year - previously graduated from Martin High School (Arlington, Texas) with a 3.7 GPA - Hargrave finished the 2011-12 season as the national runner-up with a 38-1 record - Buggs scored 15 points in the championship game - averaged 11.4 points in 15 games as a senior at Martin - averaged 18.9 points and 6.3 rebounds as a member of the Triumph White AAU team in summer 2011 - National Spanish Honor Society member - Principal's Award recipient.

Personal:
Son of David and Terri Buggs - born April 3, 1993 - has one brother, Clayton - enrolled in the College of Education and Human Development - major is sports management.
