High School: Played four seasons at DeLaSalle • part of three-time 3A state championship team for the Islanders • averaged 23.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game during his senior season, also swiping 1.6 steals in more than 27 minutes per game • participated in the Howard Pulley AAU team along with former Gopher teammates Jarvis Omersa and Daniel Oturu • team was ranked first in the nation and made it to Peach Jam, advancing out of pool play • posted totals of 17.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in 2017 AAU play • member of the school’s honor roll all four years.

Personal: Parents are LeeAnna and Craig Kalscheur • has one sister, Rose • mother played basketball at Nebraska and Cal Poly • uncle, Peter Hiestand, played football at Minnesota from 1994-95 • hobbies include singing and going to the lake • favorite sports memory is playing in the Peach Jam • business and marketing education major.
