2015 • JUNIOR SEASON: Played in three games • missed 10 games with an injury • made 11 tackles (nine solo) • broke up a pass. Game-by-Game: Tallied six tackles in Minnesota debut against TCU • made two solo tackles and broke up the final hail mary pass against Ohio • recorded three tackles at Northwestern.
PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Spent two seasons (2012 redshirted) at Iowa State before transferring to Iowa Western Community College for the 2014 season • played 12 games for the Cyclones in 2013, making 18 tackles and an interception • a 2014 NJCAA First-Team All-American and All-Midwest Football Conference First Team selection • recorded 73 tackles, 2.0 tackles-for-loss, four pass breakups and two interception returns for 53 yards at Iowa Western • ranked as a three-star transfer prospect by ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports and Scout • 247Sports rated him the best junior college recruit in Iowa, the No. 5 safety and No. 82 overall.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Iowa City West High School • Elite All-State selection as a senior in 2011 • passed for 2,128 yards and 18 touchdowns and rushed for 1,191 yards and 23 touchdowns • added 24 tackles • Iowa state track and field champion in the 110-meter high hurdles and 400-meter hurdles.
