PRONUNCIATION

OVERVIEW: Enrolled at Minnesota in January 2025 with one season of eligibility remaining • spent the previous three seasons at Syracuse (2022-24).

2025: Made his Minnesota debut against Buffalo and totaled 11 points, as he connected on two point-after attempts and made field goals from 38, 29 and 25 yards • also recorded five touchbacks on six kickoffs against Buffalo • totaled 10 points (7 PATs and 1 FG) against Northwestern State, while also recording six touchbacks on eight kickoffs • made two point-after attempts and recorded three touchbacks on three kickoffs at Cal.  

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent three seasons at Syracuse (2022-24) where he played in 37 career games • was the team’s primary kickoff specialist for three seasons and also did placekicking duties for two seasons • made 13-of-22 career field goals (career long make is 46 yards) and recorded 156 touchbacks on 198 kickoffs • in 2024, kicked off 73 times and recorded 59 touchbacks • made 3-of-6 field goals, with a season long of 33 yards • in 2023, kicked off 62 times and notched 56 touchbacks • made 10-of-16 field goals with a long of 46 yards • kicked off 63 times and carded 41 touchbacks. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Merritt Island High School in Merritt Island, Florida • wore No. 15 for the Mustangs • as a senior, handled kicking responsibilities and played quarterback on a team that went 13-2 • was a perfect 44-of-44 on point after attempts and made 19-of-26 field goals attempts, with a career long of 57 yards • made a 43-yard field goals with 48 seconds remaining to send Merritt Island to the state championship • threw for 3,220 yards and 20 touchdowns. 

PERSONAL: Son of Dan and Connie Denaburg • father, Dan, played college football at Tennessee Tech • mother, Connie, played volleyball and tennis at Carson-Newman College • has two sisters (Lexy and Karly) and one brother (Mason) • sister, Lexy, played beach volleyball at UCLA and now plays professionally • sister, Karly, played soccer at North Greenville University • brother, Mason, is a free agent pitcher who was drafted in the first round, 27th overall by the Washington Nationals in the 2018 MLB Draft.
