2016 • JUNIOR SEASON: Made his season debut at Maryland where he saw action at right guard as a reserve • played against Rutgers and helped pave the way for Minnesota to rush for 243 yards and three touchdowns • competed against Northwestern.
2015 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in two games • made his season and collegiate debut on the offensive line at Purdue • played on special teams and saw significant action as a reserve on the offensive line against Illinois and provided protection on Minnesota's passing touchdown with five seconds left in the first half.
2014 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Did not see game action.
2013: Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 DeLaSalle High School graduate • three-year starter and a two-star recruit according to Rivals.com and Scout.com • helped lead DeLaSalle to a 10-2 overall record and a 5-0 conference mark as a senior • helped anchor an offensive line that rushed for 2,364 yards and passed for 1,303 yards • started 34 games during his high school career, while earning four varsity letters • named First-Team All-State and All Metro as a senior • coached by Sean McMenomy.
PERSONAL: Born November 10, 1994 • son of Paul Fahning • has one sister, Heidi • graduated in summer 2016 with a degree in political science • working on his master's degree in public policy.
