Arno Rheinberger joined the Health & Performance staff at theĀ University of Minnesota staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in February 2017 and works primarily with Football.Ā Ā 

RheinbergerĀ attended Rutgers University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Sport StudiesĀ in 2000.Ā  For his graduate education, he attended the University of Wyoming and worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with Football and Wrestling from 2000 - 2002.Ā  He graduated with a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2002.

Arno spent time as a seasonal Athletic Trainer with the NFL's New York Football Giants in from May 2002 - January 2003.Ā  He headed to Frankfurt Germany in 2003 to spend a season with NFL Europe's Frankfurt Galaxy.

Rheinberger returned to Rutgers inĀ August 2003 and worked primarily with Football.Ā  He also provided Athletic Trainer supervision with Volleyball, Wrestling, Track & Field and Men's LaCrosse.Ā  He became the Assistant Director of Sports Medicine/Head Football Athletic Trainer at Western Michigan University in February 2014.Ā Ā 

Arno is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and MN State Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT).Ā  He holds certification in Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR) Level 1 & 2, Owens Blood Flow Restriction and Gray Institute CAFS.Ā  He is trained in Active Release Therapy Lower Extremity Level 1 and is a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).Ā Ā
