Ashley Strazdas joined the Health & Performance staff at the University of Minnesota in April 2022 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with Football.
 
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Ashley attended the University of Nebraska and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2016.  She attended graduate school at the University of Illinois and worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with Football and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2019.  Ashley worked as a Seasonal Athletic Trainer with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts in 2019, 2020, & 2021. Prior to coming to Minneapolis, she was an Assistant Athletic Trainer with Football at Rice University for the Fall 2021 season. 
 
Strazdas is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and a Minnesota State Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT).  She holds certifications in Owens Blood Flow Restriction and Dry Needling Level 1.
