Joe Wisniewski joined the Minnesota Athletic Medicine staff in 2017 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and works primarily with the Football program.

A native of Fort Dodge, IA, Wisniewski attended Iowa State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2013. Joe was an Athletic Training Student at ISU and worked with the Men’s Basketball and Football teams. He attended graduate school at Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, LA and graduated in 2015 with a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology. At LSU, Joe worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with Football and Men’s Tennis.

Prior to arriving in Minnesota, Wisniewski was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, from 2015-2017 working with the Football and Men’s Tennis teams.

Joe is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and a MN State Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT).
