- Assistant Coordinator of Recruiting Operations
Morgan Liggett joined the Minnesota staff as an assistant coordinator of recruiting operations in May 2014.
Prior to joining the Gophers, he was the associate director of football operation and director of recruiting operations at the Colorado School of Mines from July 2011 to April 2014. In addition to managing every aspect of football operations and recruiting, Liggett also organized the school's youth camps, assisted in weekly scouting reports and served as the offensive scout team coordinator.
From July 2009 to June 2011, Liggett was an operations and recruiting graduate assistant at Northern Illinois University. In addition to wokring in operations and recruiting, he also helped with communications, player personnel, academics and events surrounding gameday.
Liggett was a double-major at the University of Colorado receiving his degree in anthropolgy (2005) and ethnic studies (2008) before receiving his master's degree in sport management from Northern Illinois (2011).
The Fort Collins, Colo., native and his wife Stephanie reside in the Minneapolis area.
