    Offensive Quality Control
William Peagler joined the University of Minnesota staff in January 2016 and serves as the Offensive Quality Control assistant. He is in charge of opponent scouting, self-scouting and the day-to-day operations on the offensive side of the ball. 

Peagler comes to Minnesota from Jones County Junior College where he was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. Prior to his stint at Jones, he was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Olive Branch High School in Mississippi for one season. 

Peagler was at Coffeyville Community College in 2014, where he was the run game coordinator and recruiting coordinator. Under his watch, the Ravens rushed for 2,671 yards and 22 touchdowns that season. 

Prior to Coffeyville, Peagler spent three seasons at Louisiana-Lafayette where he worked with current Minnesota offensive coordinator Jay Johnson. Peagler joined the Ragin’ Cajuns staff as an offensive quality control assistant and then was an offensive graduate assistant coach in his final two years.

Peagler coached tight ends at Valdosta State in 2010 and was also a student assistant at Clemson, which is his alma mater, from 2006-09. He graduated from Clemson in 2010 with a degree in sport management.
