OVERVIEW: Received three-star status from ESPN, Rivals and Scout and two stars from 247Sports ESPN listed him as the No. 83 player in Ohio and as the No. 192 wide receiver in his class Scout named him the 135th wide receiver in the nation and 247Sports ranked him as the No. 108 player in Ohio.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Mentor High School led team to a 13-2 record and a spot in the Division I state championship game moved from wide receiver to quarterback for his senior year and passed for 3,230 yards and 32 touchdowns set a Division I state title game record with 419 passing yards also rushed for 1,455 yards and 23 touchdowns on the season received the Tony Fisher Award as the News-Herald[apos]s Player of the Year and was also a Mr. Football finalist earned cleveland.com[apos]s Offensive Player of the Year honors and First-Team All-Ohio honors caught 71 passes for 985 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior made 26 catches for 401 yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore member of the 2012 Division I state championship Mentor basketball team football coach was Steve Trivisonno.
