HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Rockford High School in Rockford, Minn. • wore No. 24 for the Rockets and was coached by Dan Houghton • as a senior, made 86 tackles and had nine tackles for loss • recorded eight pass breakups and returned one of his four interceptions for a touchdown • made 21 receptions for 338 yards and one touchdown and also rushed 30 times for 140 yards and three scores • returned one kickoff for a touchdown • named First-Team All-Metro by KARE11 and competed in the Minnesota High School Football All-Star Game • also ran track in high school.
