2016 • SENIOR SEASON: Played in all 12 games and started 11 • recorded 77 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss. Game-by-Game: Made seven tackles against Oregon State • totaled nine tackles against Indiana State and six against Colorado State • tallied five tackles at Penn State • registered nine tackles against Iowa and three against Maryland • made four tackles against Rutgers • notched three tackles at Illinois • notched four tackles against Purdue • tallied six tackles and two tackles for loss at Nebraska • registered nine tackles and 1.5 for a loss against Northwestern • made seven tackles at Wisconsin • notched five tackles against Washington State. 

2015 • JUNIOR SEASON:

Game-by-Game: Made his first career start at linebacker against Eastern Illinois and recorded four tackles • made a career high 10 tackles, including one tackle-for-loss, against Middle Tennessee • made two tackles, including one tackle-for-loss, and forced two fumbles at TCU • tallied four tackles against San Jose State • notched five tackles, including 1.5 tackles-for-loss, at Michigan • assisted on three tackles, including .5 tackle-for-loss, against Northwestern • totaled seven tackles against Purdue • made three tackles at Illinois • recovered a fumble and recorded two tackles against Iowa, including .5 tackle-for-loss • made two tackles, including one for a loss, against Ohio State • made four tackles at Nebraska • recorded seven tackles at Wisconsin, including .5 tackle-for-loss, and forced a fumble • made four tackles and notched one sack against Missouri.

2013 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Made his collegiate debut against UNLV, recording two tackles • registered three tackles at New Mexico State • competed at Indiana.

2012: Redshirted • shared Defensive Work Team Player of the Year honors with Matt Garin.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Lake Zurich High School • ranked as a three-star prospect and as the No. 27 player in the state of Illinois by Rivals.com • helped lead team to three berths in the state semifinals and one berth in the state title game • named Class 7A All-State by Illinois High School Football Coaches Association • first-team all-state selection by the Champaign News-Gazette and Chicago Tribune • named honorary captain of the Daily Herald Lake County all-area team • four-year starter • played wide receiver as well as linebacker • recorded 93 tackles, including seven tackles-for-loss and 2.5 sacks in 2011 • recovered two fumbles, snagged one interception and forced one fumble in 2011 • caught 13 passes for 271 yards and four touchdowns during senior campaign • coached by Bryan Stortz.
