HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Fargo South High School, where he led the Bruins to the Class AAA championship in 2013 and semifinals in 2014 • set career school records with 6,158 rushing yards and 81 total touchdowns • became the first ever two-time Gatorade North Dakota Player of the Year • piled up 2,072 rushing yards on 216 carries and scored a school-record 34 touchdowns (32 rushing) in 2014 • rushed for a school-record 2,671 yards on 266 carries and scored 30 touchdowns (29 rushing) as a junior • notched five career 300-yard rushing games, including a career-best 413 yards in a game against Century his senior season • turned in five five-touchdown games during his career • had a long run of 92 yards as a junior • two-time first-team all-state selection • coached by Troy Mattern • also lettered in hockey and track • received three-star ratings from Rivals, ESPN and 247Sports, while Scout gave him two stars • ESPN and 247Sports both named him the top recruit in North Dakota • rated the No. 118 running back recruit by 247Sports.
