PRONUNCIATION

OVERVIEW: Enrolled at Minnesota in June 2024 as a graduate student with one season of playing eligibility, which was exhausted in 2024 • played five seasons of college football at three previous institutions (2023 at Michigan State, 2021-22 at USF and 2019-20 at Colorado).

2024 (GRADUATE STUDENT AT MINNESOTA): Played in five games • rushed 19 times for 123 yards and also caught one pass for seven yards. Game-byGame: Carried the ball four times for 29 yards against Rhode Island • gained 14 yards on three carries against Nevada • lone carry at Michigan went for 16 yards • rushed two times for seven yards against Maryland • carried the ball nine times for 57 yards against Virginia Tech.

CAREER PRIOR TO MINNESOTA: Competed in 38 career games (six at Michigan State in 2023, 16 at USF in 2021-22 and 16 at Colorado in 2019-20) and started nine (eight at USF in 2021 and one at Colorado in 2019) • rushed 344 times for 1,332 yards and 23 touchdowns in his collegiate career • had 27 career receptions for 162 yards.  

2023: (REDSHIRT SENIOR AT MICHIGAN STATE): Played in the final six games of the season after missing the first six games with an injury • had 30 carries for 81 yards and seven catches for 37 yards.

2022 SEASON (REDSHIRT JUNIOR AT USF): Played in only four games to preserve his redshirt season • had 24 carries for 104 yards and three touchdowns. 

2021 SEASON (JUNIOR AT USF): Started eight games and played in all 12 • led team in rushing (671 yards; 55.9 ypg; 4.2 avg.) and rushing touchdowns (15) • named All-AAC honorable mention • his 15 rushing TDs tied for the second most in USF single-season history and ranked second in the AAC and 13th in the FBS • had five catches for 50 yards to total 721 all-purpose yards • posted a career-best 152 yards rushing on 26 carries and two touchdowns in a win against Temple. 

2020 SEASON (SOPHOMORE AT COLORADO): Saw action in four games • carried the ball 23 times for 35 yards and two touchdowns.

2019 SEASON (FRESHMAN AT COLORADO): Played in all 12 games in his true freshman season with one start • rushed 107 times for 441 yards and three touchdowns • caught 10 passes for 41 yards • graduated high school early and joined participated in spring practice with Colorado. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Cass Technical in Detroit, Michigan and was coached by Thomas Wilcher • as a senior, rushed for 1,098 yards and 26 touchdowns • helped team to an 11-2 record, league and district championships and state semifinal appearance • named first-team All-Detroit by the Detroit Free Press and first-team all-state by The Detroit News and The Associated Press • as a junior, rushed for more than 1,000 yards and had 16 touchdowns as he earned all-state, all-county and all-league honors • as a sophomore, rushed for 500 yards and had 14 touchdowns to help Cass Tech to a perfect 14-0 record and the Division 1 state championship • Honor Roll student • rated a four-star prospect by Rivals and ESPN • ranked the No. 1 running back in Michigan by Rivals and as the No. 9 recruit in the state by Rivals and ESPN. 

PERSONAL: Son of Jesse and Kali Mangham • his father, Jesse Mangham III, was a star linebacker at Bowling Green in the early 1990s • his grandfather, Jesse Mangham Jr., is the all-time leading scorer at Ferris State and is in the schools Hall of Fame • younger brother, Jaden, is a defensive back at Michigan (Jaren and Jaden played together at Michigan State in 2023).
