2022: Started all 13 games • made 58 tackles (40 solo) and had 3.5 tackles for loss • broke up five passes and had two interceptions. Game-by-Game: Started against South Dakota State and tallied a career high 12 tackles (nine solo) with two pass breakups • broke up two passes and made five tackles in a start against Fresno State • saw action against Georgia Southern • recorded six tackles against Purdue • notched three tackles against Illinois • tallied five tackles against Nebraska • registered five tackles against Rutgers • made two tackles against Maryland • sealed victory over Penn State with a late game interception in the end zone and recorded six tackles and one pass breakup • recorded three tackles including 0.5 for loss at Iowa • notched two tackles at Northwestern • tallied six tackles and broke up one pass against Wisconsin • recorded two tackles against Auburn in the Outback Bowl.  

2018  FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in 13 games and started five • recorded 45 tackles (28 solo), broke up three passes and made one interception. Game-by-Game: Made collegiate debut against New Mexico and tallied two tackles • notched one tackle against Fresno State • made one tackle against Miami • registered three tackles against Maryland • saw action against Iowa and Ohio State • recorded a career high eight tackles against Nebraska • intercepted first career pass, broke up three passes and recorded seven tackles against Indiana • led team with nine tackles at Illinois • registered four tackles against Purdue • recorded three tackles against Northwestern • tallied four tackles against Wisconsin • made three tackles in Quick Lane Bowl victory against Georgia Tech. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Desert Pines High School in Las Vegas, Nevada where he played his senior year • wore No. 5 for the Jaguars • helped lead team to a state championship, 10-2 overall record and a 5-0 mark in league play • as a senior, notched 45 tackles and three interceptions while earning All-Conference honors • coached by Tico Rodriguez • also lettered in track where he excelled as a senior • won the NIAA 3A State Championship in the long jump (21-05.00) and was on the relay teams that took first in the 4x100 (42.70) and 4x200 (1:28.87) • placed fourth in state meet in the 100 meters (11.21) • played his junior season at Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta, Calif., where he had 29 tackles, three sacks and seven pass breakups.

PERSONAL: Son of Ramsese Howden and Johnna Taylor and of Brandi Rogers and Andrei Deshotels • has seven siblings (Breana Whitefield, Cassidy Howden, Tyler Howden, Ramsess Howden, Treyvon Davies, Andrei Deshotels Jr., and Adrien Deshotels) • father, Ramsese Howden, played football at Grambling State University • cousin, Saladin Martin, played college football at San Diego University and in the NFL with the New York Giants, New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers.
