CAREER: Registered a 1-0 record as a starting quarterback as he led Minnesota to a 30-24 Quick Lane Bowl victory against Bowling Green in 2023 • played in 22 career games • completed 16-of-30 passes for 129 yards and four touchdowns • rushed 47 times for 226 yards and three scores.  

2023 • SENIOR SEASON: Played in three games, starting once • competed at North Carolina and against Louisiana • made his first career start against Bowling Green and threw for two touchdowns and also rushed three times for 31 yards and one touchdown. 

2022 • JUNIOR SEASON: Played in eight games • completed 5-of-8 passes for 41 yards • rushed six times for 27 yards. Game-by-Game: Completed three passes for 14 yards and rushed one time for five yards against New Mexico State • completed one pass for 18 yards and rushed one time for five yards against Western Illinois • completed lone attempt against Colorado for nine yards • rushed two times for 16 yards at Michigan State • competed against Purdue • saw action at Penn State • played against Northwestern and Iowa. 

2021 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in eight games • completed 3-of-3 passes for 62 yards and two touchdowns • rushed 36 times for 165 yards and two touchdowns. Game-by-Game: Saw his first action of the season and first since 2019 when he rushed twice against Bowling Green, which included a 19-yard touchdown run • gained 32 yards on eight carries at Purdue • rushed six times for 20 yards and also threw a five-yard touchdown – the first of his career – to Brevyn Spann-Ford against Nebraska • rushed five times for 30 yards and one touchdown against Maryland • rushed five times for 23 yards at Northwestern • gained 20 yards on four carries against Illinois, while lone pass attempt and completion was a 20-yard gain to Ko Kieft • rushed one time for four yards at Iowa and threw a 37-yard touchdown pass to Ko Kieft • rushed five times for 14 yards at Indiana. 

2020 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Did not see any game action. 

2019: Redshirted • played in three games • made Minnesota and collegiate debut at Rutgers • saw action against Maryland • played final two offensive snaps at Iowa in relief of an injured Tanner Morgan. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Enrolled at Minnesota in January 2019 after attending Eden Prairie High School in Eden Prairie, Minn. • wore No. 12 for the Eagles • as a senior, threw for 1,700 yards and 14 touchdowns • named 2018 Star Tribune All-Metro Second Team and KARE 11 All-Metro • helped lead the South to a win in the Minnesota Football Showcase • as a junior, passed for 1,300 yards with 20 touchdowns and no interceptions while leading the Eagles to an undefeated state championship season • coached by Mike Grant • consensus three-star recruit • No. 27 ranked dual-threat quarterback by 247Sports composite rankings and No. 3 ranked recruit in Minnesota by Rivals and ESPN.
