2022: Played in 11 games • made 13 tackles and had one sack and one interception. Game-by-Game: Made his Minnesota debut against New Mexico State • had three tackles against Western Illinois • totaled one tackle against Colorado • had two tackles and one sack (first of his career) at Michigan State • registered three tackles against Purdue • competed at Illinois, at Penn State and against Rutgers • recorded two solo tackles and returned an interception (first as a Gopher) for eight yards against Northwestern • made two tackles against Syracuse.

PERSONAL: Son of Ken and Julie Stapp • has one sibling (Reid) • mother, Julie, played college softball and basketball at Sam Houston State University • she was an All-American in softball and is the basketball team’s all-time career record holder in steals and ranks second in assists.
