    Assistant Director of Recruiting / Offensive Scouting
Nick Lee served as a Recruiting Assistant for the Minnesota football program in 2022 and 2023. He was hired full-time as a Coordinator of Recruiting Operations in January 2024 and was named Assistant Director of Recruiting / Offensive Scouting in February 2025.

Lee primarily focuses on the transfer portal, but also assists with the coordination of road recruiting strategy for position coaches, as well as the planning of unofficial visits.

Lee graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2021 with a bachelor of science degree in sport management. During his undergrad, he was a student equipment manager for the Golden Gophers from 2018-21. Among his duties were setting up individual drills for QB and WR individual periods during practice, spotting the ball for team periods, snapping the ball to QBs and setting up drills for recruiting camps.

In addition to his work with the Gophers, Lee also spent two summers working with the San Francisco 49ers as an equipment intern in 2020 and 2021. He worked with the offensive and defensive linemen, was responsible for chains during team periods, ran routes during defensive scout periods to gave formation looks for defense, set up and took down equipment and drills for practice and free agent workouts, and also handled daily laundry duties.
