Graduate of Seminole High School • served as a team captain during his senior season • helped lead his team to a 2008 state championship and a 9-3 record in 2009 • team was 9-3 and advanced to the second round of the state playoffs • was invited to play in both the Central Florida All-Star Game and the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Classic • ranked fourth on the team with 60 total tackles as a senior • broke up 12 passes, tallied one interception, forced a fumble and notched one sack in 2009 • recorded 68 tackles, eight tackles for loss, 15 pass breakups and three interceptions as a junior in 2008 • coached by Michael Cullison.
