Team captain • competed in five meets for the Gophers and factored into the team's scoring in four events • opened the year at the UC Riverside Invitational, helping the Gophers to a team title • set a new personal record for an eight-kilometer course at the meet with a time of 24:25.9, finishing 11th • finished 57th in the Griak Invitational with a time of 26:02.3 • finished 108th overall (105th among scorers) with a time of 24:41 at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational • placed 54th at the Big Ten Championship with a time of 24:53.8 • finished 30th at the 2014 NCAA Midwest Regional with a time of 30:47.3 • Academic All-Big Ten • earned third letter.

Ran in four meets for the Gophers as a junior • opened the season with a fourth-place finish at the Oz Memorial, clocking a 19:35.2 at the meet • finished 75th at the Griak Invitational with a time of 25:33.6 • came in 44th at the Notre Dame Invitational with a time of 25:11.2 • closed out the season at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational, finishing 278th with a time of 26:23 • Academic All-Big Ten honoree • earned second letter.

2012 | REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON
Competed in four races for the Gophers as a sophmore in 2012 • opened the season with a 12th-place finish at the Oz Memorial, finishing second among Gophers runners with a time of 19:40.62 • added a 94th-place finish at the Griak Invitational, crossing the finish line at 26:56.8 • also finished 18th in the open race at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational, posting a time of 25:04 • best finish came at the Fall Finale, where he placed first overall with a time of 25:01.00 • Academic All-Big Ten honoree • earned first letter.

2011 | REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON
Ran in two meets • best finish came at the Oz Memorial where he placed fourth on the team with 20:17.04 • raced the Roy Griak Invitational in 26:33.5.

Redshirted his first year with the Gophers.

A 2010 graduate of Coon Rapids High School • high school coaches were Denny Green and Don Timm • state champion as a junior in the 1,600m at the 2009 Minnesota Class AA track meet with a time of 4:16.56 • finished third in 2010 with a time of 4:14.80 • placed ninth in the 2009 Minnesota Class AA cross country meet • Northwest Suburban Conference champion once in cross country and three times in track • two-time all-state performer • set school record in 1,600m • also a two-time letterwinner in basketball • graduated with honors.
