2023 Outdoor Track & Field • Graduate Season: Qualified for the NCAA West Regional once again, this time in the discus and the hammer throw... Finished 15th in the discus at the NCAA West Regional... Threw a lifetime best hammer throw mark of 64.44m (211-5) to finsih 21st overall... Earned a bronze medal at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the discus with a throw of 56.55m (185-6)... Competed in the javelin for the first time in his career at the Jim Click Shootout, tossing a mark of 42.63m (139-10).

High School: A 2017 graduate of Mahtomedi High School • two-time all-state, three-time all-Metro East, and two-time all-area honoree • broke Mahtomedi High School’s discus record with a throw of 187-07 ft. • placed second in discus (187-07 ft.) and third in shot put (60-02.5 ft.) at 2017 Minnesota Class AA State Track & Field Championships • 14-time letter winner, earning three for football, three for basketball, four for track & field, and four for academics • four-time academic high honors.
Personal: Son of John and Becky Siekmeier • parents were both throwers at the University of Minnesota • lists breaking his high school’s record discus throw as his greatest sports memory • enjoys math and being outside • Aerospace Engineering major.
