2009-10 • Senior Season: Named WCHA All-Academic and Academic All-Big Ten honoree • played in all 40 games • recorded 20 points (11g-9a) • scored two power-play goals, one shorthanded goal, and three game-winning goals • registered 13 points (7g-6a) in 28 WCHA games • named WCHA Offensive Player of the Week (10/7).
2008-09 • Junior Season: Played in 38 games • recorded 10 points (2g-8a) • scored one power-play goal and one game-winning goal • had nine points (2g-7a) in 26 WCHA games.
Before Minnesota: Transferred to Minnesota after beginning her collegiate career at Northeastern • played for the Huskies for two years and tallied 49 points in 63 games • led the Huskies in goals (13) and ranked second on the team in points (22) as a sophomore • led the team in points (27) and goals (16) as a freshman • named to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team and earned all-conference honorable mention as a freshman • named the Hockey East Player of the Month for December during her rookie season.
The Jones File: A 2006 graduate of Stillwater Area High School • played six seasons for the Ponies, serving as team captain for two years • finished her high school career as the Ponies’ all-time leading scorer • scored 68 goals and added 36 assists in 2005 to rank 12th all-time on the state single-season scoring list • led Stillwater to its first state tournament in eight years in 2005 • named team MVP and earned all-conference, all-state, and all-state tournament team honors as a senior • named the Minnesota Female Hockey Player of the Year by the Associated Press, Star-Tribune, and Pioneer Press • named Minnesota Ms. Hockey award finalist as a senior • also played softball for three seasons at Stillwater.
