Spent two seasons with the Gophers from 2016-18 • skated in 67 games while recording 16 points (three goals, 13 assists) • 2017 Big Ten All-Rookie Team • 2018 All-Big Ten Honorable Mention • two-time letter winner • alternate captain (2017-18) • signed an entry-level contract with the New York Rangers following his sophomore season, foregoing his final two years with the Gophers. 

2017-18 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
All-Big Ten Honorable Mention • served as an alternate captain • skated in 35 games as a sophomore while recording career highs with nine points, two goals, seven assists and 51 blocks • led the team with 51 penalty minutes and ranked second on the team with 51 blocks • missed three games while helping the U.S. National Junior Team capture a bronze medal at the IIHF World Junior Championships in Buffalo (Lindgren's second medal with the team) • served as an alternate captain with Team USA as well • earned second letter. 

2016-17 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team • skated in 32 games as a rookie, missing the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments with an injury • recorded seven points (one goal, six assists) as a freshman while finishing second on the team with 50 blocks • made his collegiate debut on Oct. 7, 2016 in Minnesota's win over UAA • notched his first point (an assist) against Northeastern on Nov. 25, 2016 • added his first career goal against Ohio State on Dec. 3, 2016 • missed the Mariucci Classic while helping the U.S. National Junior Team go unbeaten at the IIHF World Junior Championships in Canada, earning a gold medal • earned first letter. 

JUNIORS/HIGH SCHOOL
A 2016 graduate of Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Mich. • spent two years (2014-16) with USA Hockey's National Team Development Program • tallied 25 points (seven goals, 18 assists) in 60 career USHL games • served as team captain of the U.S. National Under-17 Team during the 2014-15 season and recorded 19 points (three goals, 16 assists) in 55 total games • also served as team captain of the U.S. National Under-18 Team during the 2015-16 season and recorded 25 points (six goals, 19 assists) in 61 total games • previously skated for three seasons at Shattuck-St. Mary’s and helped capture the 2014 Tier I Boys 18 and Under National Championship with Gophers teammates Ryan Norman and Rem Pitlick.

Earned two medals in two appearances at the IIHF World Junior Championships, winning gold as the U.S. National Junior Team went unbeaten at the 2017 event and adding a bronze medal at the 2018 event • served as team captain for the U.S. at the 2016 IIHF Under-18 World Championship in Grand Forks, N.D., helping Team USA to a bronze medal with five points (two goals, three assists) in seven games • finished fourth at the 2016 IIHF Under-18 Five Nations Tournament in Rauma, Finland • helped the U.S. to a gold medal at the 2015 IIHF Under-17 Four Nations Tournament in Monthey, Switzerland • also earned silver medals at the 2015 IIHF Under-17 Five Nations Tournament in Dmitrov, Russia, the 2014 IIHF World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Sarnia and Lambton Shores, Ontario and the 2014 IIHF Under-17 Four Nations Tournament in Ann Arbor, Mich. • served as team captain for the U.S. at the 2014 IIHF World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

Born Feb. 11, 1998 • son of Bob and Jennifer Lindgren • native of Minneapolis, Minn. • father, Bob, was a goalie at Michigan • brother, Charlie, was a goalie for St. Cloud State and plays in the Montreal Canadiens organization • brother, Andrew, is a goalie at St. John’s • selected in the second round (49th overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the Boston Bruins • NHL rights were traded from the Boston Bruins to the New York Rangers during the 2017-18 season  competed at the 2015 CCM All-American Prospects Game in Buffalo, N.Y.
