2012-13 ? 2009-10 ? Freshman Season: Competed in all 39 games as a freshman, playing much of the second half of the season as right wing on the team's top forward line ? was named the WCHA Rookie of the Week twice in January after a three-point weekend against North Dakota (1/15-16) and a five-point series at Alaska Anchorage (1/29-30) ? team was 9-1-1 when he scored a point ? scored his first career goal in a 5-1 win over Alaska Anchorage (10/30) ? had two goals and an assist to spark a 5-2 win at Wisconsin (11/7) ? collected the game-winning goal on an unassisted tally against North Dakota (1/16) ? scored the game-winner and added three assists in a win at Alaska Anchorage (1/29) ? tallied the team's lone goal in a 3-1 loss at Alaska Anchorage the following night (1/30) ? assisted goals in each game of sweep against Colorado College (2/19-20) ? won 57.2 percent of his faceoffs ? ranked second on team with 45 penalty minutes ? earned his first letter.

High School: Returns to the ice after missing all of 2008-09 hockey season with a knee injury suffered during the first round of the 2008 football playoffs on a kickoff coverage ? captained his Edina High School hockey team to a 28-3 record and a Class AA state runner-up finish as a junior ? named to the Class AA all-state tournament team in 2008 ? totaled 26 goals and 37 assists for 63 points in 2007-08 and earned Associated Press first-team all-state honors ? high school coach was Curt Giles ? played 15 games with Team Southwest in the Minnesota High School Elite League in the fall of 2008, recording 27 points with 14 goals and 13 assists ? all-conference middle linebacker in football ? also played baseball ? selected by the Nashville Predators in the second round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
