2025-26 | Redshirt Freshman Season: Academic All-Big Ten • CSC Academic All-District • played eight minutes in his collegiate debut and scored two points and added a rebound vs. Gardner-Webb (11.3) • scored four points and played 20 minutes vs. San Francisco (11.22) • made first collegiate start in the game vs. Stanford (11/27) • had four rebounds vs. Santa Clara (11.28) • scored six points vs. Texas Southern (12.14) • had four assists and four steals in the Campbell win (12.21) • scored 12 points in the win at Northwestern (1/3) • played 19 minutes and scored his first three-pointer of his career and six points vs. USC (1.9) • started at Wisconsin and had nine points, three steals and two assists (1.28)  • career-high four blocks at Penn State (2.1) • established a career-high 13 points and eight rebounds in the win at Oregon (2.17) • scored 11 points and eight rebounds in the Rutgers win (2.21) • produced seven assists, three steals and six rebounds in the win over UCLA (2.28)  • added six assists and three steals in the Northwestern win (3.8).

2024-25 Season: Redshirted his true freshman year. 

Prep: Played for Alexandria High School under Forrest Witt and D1 Minnesota under former Gopher Jonathon Williams • led his Alexandria Cardinals to the back-to-back state tournaments • two-time Class AAA State Tournament Team selection • two-time team captain • with Alexandria, made the state tournament three times, including back-to-back fourth places • despite battling injuries his senior year, averaged 16.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.1 blocks and shot 61.5 percent from the field •  averaged 20 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.7 blocks per game as a junior • also shot 57.8 from the field, including 38.7 from three-point range • voted Alexandria's team MVP • multiple All-Central Lakes conference selection • as a sophomore, Grove averaged 12.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.0 blocks per game as the Cardinals finished with a 23-6 record and a section title appearance • was also named one of the team's defensive players of the year • standout soccer player who earned all-conference honors • three-sport athlete in high school and also played baseball • had ankle surgery in the summer of 2023, forcing him to miss most of the AAU season.
