Played four years of varsity basketball at Archbishop Mitty High School and AAU with West Coast Elite, Oakland Soldiers and Team Arsenal ⢠was a four-star prospect and the 10th-rated senior in the state by 247 Sports ⢠named the San Francisco Chronicleās Player of the Year and the Bay Area News Groupās co-Player of the Year as a senior ⢠averaged 14.7 points, 6.4 assists and 5.1 rebounds as Archbishop Mitty repeated as Central Coast Section Open Division champions ⢠averaged 13.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.8 steals as a junior ⢠two-time MVP of the West Coast Athletic League.

Communications major ⢠born in San Jose, Calif. ⢠son of Mike Mitchell and Shannon Bright ⢠father was a standout running back for the Stanford football team from 1993-97, where he ranks eighth in school history in rushing yards (2,550) and 100-yard career games (9) and seventh in career attempts (559) ⢠has three siblings: Macie, Jordyn and Kyler ⢠graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School in 2021.
