2011: Raced four meets • represented Minnesota at the Big Ten Championships, running 25:38 • posted 26:30 at the Wisconsin Adidas Invite • ran his best 8k at the Roy Griak Invitational (25:02.40), good for fourth among the Gophers • finished the Hornet Jamboree 4-mile in 19:53

2009-2010 Competed at the University of Oklahoma: Qualified for NCAA Nationals with the sqaud after running a 14:14 in the 5K at the Stanford Invite • Competed at the Adidas Invitational recording a personal best time of 25:08 on the 8,000 meter course.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Regis Jesuit High School • high school coach was Bob Nicolls (father) • earned four letters in cross country and track/field • three-time MVP and three year captain • ran a 4:18 in the mile and a 9:03 in the two mile • finished fourth at the state meet junior and senior seasons.
