2026 Outdoor Track & Field • Redshirt Freshman Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten... Earned All-Academic honors from the USTFCCCA for his performance on the track and in the classroom... Qualified for the NCAA West Regional in his first season in uniform in the 3000m steeplechase... Finished 19th overall at the NCAA West Regional in a time of 8:47.37... Posed a season-best time of 8:46.84 in the steeplechase at the Bryan Clay Invite to finish sixth overall (just 1.72 seconds out of the 2026 program top 10)... Was sixth overall at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the 3000m steeplechase to earn three points for the Golden Gophers who finished tied for second as a team... Ran the 5000m at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships and clocked a 14:37.70 to earn 18th overall... Ran the 1500m at the Beach Opener and finished in a time of 3:53.88 to finish fifth.

Also ran one 1500m race during the season at the UW-La Crosse NCAA Outdoor Final Qualifier and was second in a time of 3:53.21... Ran one 5000m race during the outdoor season and finished 3rd at the 115th Drake Relays in a time of 14:15.85.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was the Class AAA State runner-up at the MSHSL State Cross Country Championships in 2023... Was fourth overall at the NXR heartland Regional Championships and then went on to finish 12th overall at the NXN Nike Cross Nationals in Oregon... On the track was fourth in the 1600m at the state meet and sixth overall in the 3200m in 2024... Ran at the New Balance Nationals outdoor meet the last two years and ran a personal best 8:54.0 in 2023.
