Fall 2022: Began the season with a tie for 33rd (69-69-75--213) in the Gopher Invitational • Ended the MacDonald Cup in a tie for 53rd (79-74-71--224) • Wrapped up the Marquette Intercollegiate in a tie for 24th (71-73-72--216) • Earned a career-best finish with a tie for 3rd in the Alister Mckenze Invitational and tallied the tournament-best round with a score of five-under par in the first round (67-70-71--208) • Tied for 44th in the Isleworth Invitational (78-72-76--226)
Spring 2023: Started his season at the Big Ten Match Play going 1-1-1 over three matches • Finished in a tie for 49th at the Colleton River Collegiate with an even oar score (78-89-69--216)
2021-22 • JUNIOR SEASON
Spring 2022: Went 1-1-0 at the Big Ten Match Play Championship • Finished the Colleton River Collegiate with a score of 81-71-69--221 (+5), tying for 44th • Tied for 16th at the Boilermaker Invitational after finishing with a score of 71-74-73--218 (+5) • Had a career-best tournament finish of T-15th at the Hawkeye Invitational after scoring 76-69-73--218 (+2) • Scored 76-75-82--233 (+17) at the Big Ten Championship, good for a T-52nd finish.
Fall 2021: Made his Gophers debut at the Marquette Intercollegiate where he was Minnesota's top finisher in a tie for 39th (73-69-74--216) • recorded a 67 in the first round of the Gopher Invitational and a 71 in the second round, but was disqualified from the third round due to a scorecard error • finished in a tie for 37th (68-75-75--218) at the Rich Harvest Farms Intercollegiate • Minnesota's to finisher at the Purdue Fall Invitational in a tie for 20th at 1-over par (77-68-72--217) • wrapped up the the Isleworth Collegiate in a tie for 54th at 11-over par (73-75-79--227).
PREVIOUS COLLEGE
Finished his sophomore season at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa, where he claimed five individual tournament victories while leading IHCC to four team titles... season scoring average was 70.73... named First Team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America, and he also earned All-American status with his 14th-place finish at the NJCAA Championships... in the Warriors' 12 events during the 2020-21 campaign, Sale finished among the top ten on 10 occasions, including his five victories, and did no worse than 15th in any event... posted a three-shot victory in the season-opening Klocke Family Classic and followed it up at the next outing with another three-stroke win at Southwestern Community College's War at the Moor en route to claiming ICCAC Athlete of the Week honors... continued his winning ways with a tie for first at the DMACC Fall Invitational, then grabbed back-to-back victories at the Baker University Wildcat March Classic and Butler University Spring Invitational... was remarkably consistent throughout the year as he recorded 22 rounds of even par or better while scoring in the 60s 12 times during the year... lowest round was a 66, which he recorded on two separate occasions.
