• Debuted in the Gopher Invitational, finishing with a score of one-under par and tying for 44th (70-75-70--215)
• Completed the MacDonald Cup in a tie for 20th place (70-66-70--213)
• Placed 71st in the Marquette Intercollegiate (73-79-73--225)

• Joined the Gophers after playing for the Edina golf team at Edina High School
• During his 2021 season, Wetzel earned First Team-All Conference honors, in addition to being named a 2022 Captain

• Wetzel and the Hornets wrapped up their 2021 season by finishing third in their conference, while winning the section championship and placing second in the state tournament
