Brian Jenkins is in his first year with the Golden Gopher track & field program. Jenkins comes to Minnesota after working as an account executive for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Prior to his time in the NBA, Jenkins was also in guest relations with the Carolina Panthers for the 2019 season and recruiting services intern with Nike, also in 2019.Â
Jenkins, a 2019 graduate of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, was a part of its football team, first as a player, then as a Offensive Quality Control Coach. In that role, Jenkins assisted in breaking down game film, analyzed opponent tendencies and assisted in the preparation of the offensive game plan. He also developed North Carolina A&T football operations by coordinating prospect camps, recruiting visits, team travel and ordering team gear.
