2016 | REDSHIRT JUNIOR SEASON
Indoor: Won the Northwest Open's 600 meters. - At the Jack Johnson Invitational, won the 400 meters with a time of 48.23 seconds. Outdoor: Led the Golden Gophers to victory in the 4x400 relay at the Stanford Invitational with a time of 3:07.54. - Set a new Holst Invitational record after achieving victory in the 800 meter with a time of 1:51.31.
2015 | REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON
Indoor: Attained victories for the Golden Gophers at the Northwest Open, the Wisconsin Duel, the Jack Johnson Classic, and the Snowshoe Open. Outdoor: Competed in the Baldy Castillo Invitational, the Texas Invitational, the Tom Cat Twilight, and the Musco Twilight. Â
2014 | REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON
Indoor: At the 2014 Northwest Open finished the 600 meters in 1:20.96 good for second overall in the event - at the 2014 Bill Bergan Invitational placed 6th in the 400 meters with a time of 48.77 seconds - at the Iowa State Classic finished 6th in the 600 yards with a time of 1:11.51 - finished 1st in the 600 meters at the 2014 Snowshoe Open with a time of 1:19.85 - at the 2014 Big Ten Championship finished 6th in the 600 meters with a time of 1:17.95. Outdoor: At the 2014 Baldy Castillo Invitational finished 6th in the 400 meters with a time of 48.75 seconds - placed 14th in the 400 meters at the Stanford Invitational with a time of 48.32 seconds - finished second in the 400 meters at the Carleton Relays with a time of 49.79 seconds - at the Tom Cat Twilight finished second in the 400 meters with a time of 48.72 seconds - finished 11th in the Musco Twilight 400 meters with a time of 48.39 seconds - competed in the 400 meters at the Big Ten Championships and finished with a time of 48.48 seconds.

A native of Woodbury, Minn., Nathan Roese is set to join the Maroon and Gold after earning the 2012 Minnesota Class AA State Title in the 400-meter dash (47.79) for East Ridge High School. - Roese also added a fourth-place finish at the state track and field meet in the 200-meter run with a time of 22.15. - Both times were season records for the Raptors runner. - Roese's prep career, which includes a pair of all-state honors, was guided by East Ridge head track and field coach and former Gopher runner Lloyd Ness and sprinting coach Shannon Rainey. - Roese also competed in cross country for the Raptors under head coach Chad Cronin.
