Indoor: Competed in four meets • placed fourth in the 800 meters (1:53.53) at the Jack Johnson Classic. Outdoor: Ran the 800 meters in six meets • placed second in the event at the Iowa Musco Twilight Meet with a season-best time of 1:51.06 • Academic All-Big Ten.

2009 Season: Indoor: Competed in five meets • ran a season-best 800-meter run of 152.90 in Big Ten prelim. Outdoor: Ran in five meets • clocked a season-best time of 1:51.80 in 800m at the Minnesota Open • Academic All-Big Ten • varsity letterwinner.

2008 Season:
Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.
