Competed in four meets for the Gophers, scoring in two competitons • opened the season with an eighth-place showing at the Bob Timmons Dual Classic (19:33.0), helping the Gophers capture the team title • ran 26:04.5 to place 51st at the Griak Invitational • posted a new eight-kilometer personal record of 24:41.8 at the Pre-National Meet, finishing 160th • closed out the season with a 77th-place finish at the Big Ten meet, crossing the finish line at 25:07.9 • Academic All-Big Ten • earned second letter.

2014 | REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON
Competed in five races for the Gophers • factored into the team scoring in two meets • ran a 19:22.1 to open the 2014 campaign at the Oz Memorial, setting a new personal six-kilometer record in the process and finishing eighth • finished 93rd in the Griak Invitational with a time of 26:23.9 · placed seventh overall with a time of 24:58.41 at the Jim Drews Invitational, pacing the Gophers in a team win • finished 62nd overall at the Big Ten Championship with a time of 25:05.9 • finished 69th with a time of 31:11.8 at the 2014 NCAA Midwest Regional • earned first letter • Academic All-Big Ten.

2013 | REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON
Competed in four meets for the Gophers • opened the year with a 16th-place showing at the Oz Memorial, finishing in 19:59.5 • clocked a 25:38.5 at the Griak Invitational, finishing 83rd • came in 117th at the Notre Dame Invitational with a time of 25:58.1 • closed out the year with a 25:19 at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational, finishing 211th.

2012 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Redshirted the 2012 cross country season • competed as an unattached runner at the Oz Memorial, running a 20:14.80 to finish 29th.

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Rochester Mayo High School in 2012 • high school coach was Brett Carroll • finished second at the 2012 Minnesota Class AA State Championships - a school record - with a time of 15:39.50, behind current Gophers teammate Josh Thorson • the All-State honoree helped the Spartans earn a state championship bid in 2012 - the first time a Rochester program had done so in more than 20 years and Rochester Mayo's first state championship appearance since 1991 • to earn individual medalist at the 2012 MSHSL Section 1AA Championship with a time of 15:42.24 and the 2012 Big 9 Conference Championship with a time of 15:52.60 • also earned individual titles at the Swain Meet, the Ev Berg Invitational, the All-City Cross Country Invite and the Mayo Invite • competed at the Nike Cross Nationals Heartland Regional and the Foot Locker Midwest Regional • also competed in Nordic skiing and track at Rochester Mayo and won the 2012 Class AA State 1600 Championship.
