2020 Indoor Track & Field • Redshirt Senior Season: Named All-American in high jump • named Second Team All-Big Ten in high jump • named CoSIDA Academic All-America, CoSIDA Academic All-District, and USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree • letterwinner • competed as a graduate transfer for the Gophers and posted top-10 finishes in all seven of his high jump competitions • finished second in the high jump at the 2020 Big Ten Indoor Track & Field Championships to earn Second Team All-Big Ten honors while his mark of 2.23 meters (7-03.75 ft.) at the meet ranks third all-time at Minnesota • opened his Gophers career with three-straight wins with titles at the SDSU Holiday Open, the Minnesota Open and the Larry Wieczorek Invite • qualified for the 2020 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the high jump, but the indoor season was canceled on March 12, 2020, when the Big Ten and NCAA announced they were ceasing competitions and championships because of COVID-19 public health concerns.

High School: A graduate of Lemoore High School • won every high jump competition he competed in as a senior including the 2015 CIF state title • a three-time team MVP and a two-year captain.
Personal: Native of Lemoore Calif. • son of Michael and Lori Burke • has two siblings, Jonah and Zach • competed in the high jump at the 2016 World Junior Championships in Poland • finished second at the 2016 USATF Junior Championships • graduate student pursuing an M.Ed. in Sport Management.
