GET TO KNOW SARA DUPAUL:
Why the University of Minnesota?
I grew up going to Gopher games, and I absolutely loved the Maroon and Gold. I was a longtime camper for all the softball clinics, and I fell in love with the program, campus and school.
What is it like playing for Minnesota?
Only a few people in the world put on the Maroon and Gold jersey, and I consider it to be an honor. I get to practice and play with my best friends while performing in front of my friends and family. It's a feeling like none!
Favorite aspect of softball?
I love to hit! I just love the battle between you and the pither.
Pregame rituals/superstitions?
I can't step on the chalk lines before a game, and my bat hangs in the same spot. We also stand in the exact same spot in the dugout for each game.

Playing catch with my mom in the yard
