Olivia Puttin serves as an Assistant Director in the Athletic Communications office, where she is the primary contact for women's basketball and soccer. In addition to her program responsibilities, she mentors the softball communications intern.
Puttin rejoined Minnesota in 2022 after spending two years as a graduate assistant in the sports communications office at the University of Georgia, where she earned her master's degree in sport administration.
While at Georgia, Puttin was the primary contact for women's soccer and equestrian, overseeing all communications needs for the 2021 NCEA National Champions and Bulldogs soccer program. She also served as a secondary contact for women's basketball and assisted with football media appearances and credentialing.
She previously served as a communications student assistant with the Gophers from 2019-20, working with women's tennis.
A native of Rogers, Minn., Puttin played three years of college soccer as a goalkeeper at the University of Minnesota Crookston, where she got her start in sports communications, before graduating in 2020.
