(Cherry Creek H.S./Colorado Juniors Volleyball Club), Carter Booth comes to Minnesota as a two-time Under Armour All-American selection and the No. 1 2022 recruit in Colorado, according to multiple recruiting outlets • 2021 Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year • An all-conference selection as a junior season, Booth also played club for Colorado Juniors Club Volleyball and was an alternate for the United States' FIVB Women's Under-20 World Championship team • In her career at Cherry Creek, Booth tallied 681 kills, 346 blocks (86 solo), 61 aces, 138 digs and a .390 attacking percentage • As a senior, she led the Bruins to a 26-2 record and the Class 5A state championship • Booth amassed 335 kills to go with 127 blocks, 70 digs and 35 service aces, while recording a .453 hitting percentage • A First Team Under Armour All-American, she was selected the Class 5A Player of the Year and was ranked as the nation’s No. 14 prospect in the Class of 2022 by PrepVolleyball.com • Booth also won a gold medal with the 2019 Girls U18 National Team at the FIVB World Championships.
PERSONAL:
The daughter of Keisha and Calvin Booth, she has two brothers, Carey and Clark, and a sister, Camble • Her father, Calvin, played college basketball at Penn State and then in the NBA for 10 seasons • Booth has volunteered locally in Denver on behalf of Volunteers of America’s Adopt a Family program and UCHealth diaper drives • Carter hopes to major in criminology and law at Minnesota.
