2024 - REDSHIRT JUNIOR SEASON:
Played in 17 matches in her first year as a Gopher, totaling 1.00 kills, 1.08 blocks and 0.16 digs per set • totaled three kills and one dig in her Gophers debut against St. Thomas (Sept. 10) • went for a kill and two blocks versus LIU (Sept. 12) • tallied a kill and three blocks at Green Bay (Sept. 19) • had two kills and three blocks against Chicago State (Sept. 21) • went for two kills and a block at USC (Oct. 5) • tallied a kill and tied her career-high with three blocks vs. Maryland (Oct. 12) • posted a season-best four kills on 1.000 hitting against Northwestern (Oct. 23) • went for career-highs in both kills (5) and blocks (7) vs. Washington (Nov. 7) • earned her first start at Minnesota vs. Oregon (Nov. 9) • tallied one kill at Nebraska (Nov. 14) • appeared in her first NCAA Tournament match at Kentucky (Dec. 6).
PRIOR TO MINNESOTA:
She played in five matches during her time as a Yellow Jacket, posting nine kills (0.75 kills per set), seven blocks (0.54 bps) and five digs (0.42 dps) • Engeman played in four matches in 2023, including posting a career-high five kills, two blocks and two digs on Oct. 8 at Virginia •she has two years of eligibility remaining at Minnesota.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:
In high school, she played under head coach Karl Katzenberger at Minnetonka H.S. for four years • the two-time team captain helped the Skippers win the 2018 Conference Championship and 2019 Section title • Minnetonka placed fourth at the 2019 Minnesota State Championships • Engeman also played for Northern Lights Volleyball Club.
PERSONAL:
The daughter of Maja and Joseph Engeman, she also has a sister, Danna • she will be getting her strategic management certificate at Minnesota • Engeman graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in industrial engineering.
WHY MINNESOTA:
"Joining the Gophers volleyball program is an opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself. As a Minnesota girl who grew up going to games at the Pav, it means so much going to a team that inspires so many girls around the state. I'm so happy to be coming home!"
