Brooke Olson joined the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the Spring of 2023 as a Graduate Manager after a standout playing career at the University of Minnesota - Duluth.

In Duluth Olson was one of the best players in program history, amassing 2530 points in 143 games played in five seasons. She started 110 games and was the captain and leading scorer on the Bulldogs 2022-23 team that reached the NCAA Division II National Championship game along with winning a conference title. In five seasons Olson averaged 17.7 points, highlighted by her 23.1 during the 2022-23 seasons, and added 6.6 rebounds per contest. During her career she shot 52.3 percent from the floor, 81.1 percent from the free throw line and 35.4 percent from beyond the arc. She was the 2022-23 WBCA Division II WBCA Player of the Year and was a Division II Honda Athlete of the Year Finalist. She left Duluth as the program's first four-time All-American and was also named the CSC's Division II All-America Player of the Year. 

Olson graduated from the University of Minnesota - Duluth in May of 2022 with a degree in Exercise Science. Outside of basketball she was a Camp Director at Pacesetter and RLYGB and also was a Camp Instructor at Take It To The Rim during her college career. A native of Rice Lake, Wis., Olson graduated from Rice Lake in 2018 and played for her mother Darla Olson. She was a three-sport athlete at the high school level, playing basketball, volleyball and soccer.
