2025-26: FRESHMAN SEASON
• Played in 29 games as a true freshman, coming off the bench
• Saw time in all three of Minnesota's NCAA Tournament games
• In her debut against North Dakota (Nov. 4), the guard recorded a career-high 23 points
• She is the first Gopher to score 23 points in her debut since Lindsey Lieser did so against Ball State on Nov. 20, 1999
• The mark also ranks ninth all time in points by a nonstarter

• Ranked as one of the top guards from the state of Wisconsin, Christian brings an edge to the Gophers' squad as the No. 52 ranked recruit in the latest 2024 ESPN/Hoopgurlz top 100 rankings
• The guard averaged 25.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per contest
• As a junior, she led Hartford Union to the North Shore Conference Championship and also led the Orioles to the state semifinal game
• During that same season, she scored 43 points, a career high and set the school record, against McFarland
• Makena is also Hartford's all time leader in rebounds
• Recognized as the No. 3 overall recruit and No. 1 guard from the state of Wisconsin in the Prep Girls Hoops rankings
