PERSONAL: Pursuing a degree in Kinesiology... Child of Jordan and Wendy LaMotte... Has three siblings, Miley, Zach and Sidney... Was high school teammates with Minnesota All-American Zoie Dundon... Sister Sidney competed in softball at UW-Green Bay... Brother Zachary LaMotte competed in hockey at Maryville University... Lists hanging out with friends, baking and shopping as interests outside of running... Says she chose Minnesota because, "Athletically the University of Minnesota cross country team is competitive in the NCAA and how the team is so close and it has always been my dream to wear Maroon and Gold. Academically the University of Minnesota is a great school with resources to help me in whatever direction I decide to go into post college."

HIGH SCHOOL: Was an All-Conference (South Suburban Conference) performer in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026... Earned a bronze medal at the MSHSL Class AAA State Championships in cross country and had a 5K lifetime best on the cross country course of 17:18.7... Was the Minnesota state runner-up in 2026 in the 1600m in Class AAA in a time of 4:47.33 and held a lifetime best in high school of 4:46.32... Also reached the 2026 Minnesota state meet in the 3200m and finished seventh... Played softball until sophomore year of high school.
