2009 • Sophomore Season: Did not compete.

2008 • Freshman Season: Ran in six meets • clocked a season-best time of 23:53.64 at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Middleton High School • high school coaches were Joe Spolar, Isaac Mezera and Cindy Bremser • helped Middleton to three top-five finishes in cross country, including the 2006 Wisconsin Division 1 championship • all-state as a junior • placed 66th as a sophomore, 21st as a junior and 40th as a senior at state cross country meet • earned four varsity letters in cross country, three in track • a member of the National Honor Society.
