2010 Season – Outdoor: Named First Team All-American and All-Big Ten Second Team honoree in the 1,500-meter run • named USTFCCCA All-Academic and Academic All-Big Ten honoree • finished as NCAA runner-up in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:16.25 at the NCAA Championships • set a Minnesota program record in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:13.45 in the prelims at the NCAA Championships • advanced to the NCAA Championships with a third-place finish in the 1,500-meter run at the NCAA West Prelim • finished as Big Ten runner-up in two events, running a season-best 2:06.77 in the 800-meter run and recording a time of 4:15.43 in the 1,500-meter run at the Big Ten Championships • ran a season-best time of 16:46.64 in the 5,000-meter run at the CCU Shamrock Invitational • anchored the Drake Relays champion 4x800-meter relay team in a season-best 8:33.98, the third-best time in program history • anchored the Drake Relays champion 4x1600-meter relay team in a Minnesota program record time of 18:58.82.
 
2008 Season – Cross Country: Named All-Midwest Region and All-Big Ten Second Team honoree • team captain • named Academic All-Big Ten honoree • received Big Ten Sportsmanship Award • named team’s co-recipient of Most Valuable Runner award • ran at six meets, finishing second on the team at all six meets • ran a season-best 20:48.4 to finish 49th overall at the NCAA Championships • finished 12th overall at the NCAA Midwest Region Championships (21:24.35) • placed 10th overall at the Big Ten Championships (21:07.2).
 
2009 Season – Indoor: Named All-Big Ten Second Team honoree in the mile • anchored the Gophers’ distance medley relay, which placed 12th at the NCAA Championships (11:26.40) • finished as Big Ten runner-up in the mile with a career-best time of 4:44.18, an NCAA provisional mark and the fifth-fastest in Gopher history, and placed 11th in the 5,000-meter run in a career-best time of 16:50.01 at the Big Ten Championships • anchored the distance medley relay to a season-best time of 11:11.12, third in school history, at the Meyo Invitational.
 
2009 Season – Outdoor: Named Academic All-Big Ten honoree • served as team captain • earned her fourth varsity letter • had her season cut short with a battle of adenoid cystic carcinoma but was granted a sixth-season of outdoor eligibility to return to the team in 2010 • ran a career-best time of 4:22.67 in the 1,500-meter run five days before a five-hour surgery at the Sun Angel Classic.
 
2007 Season – Cross Country: Named All-Midwest Region and All-Big Ten Second Team honoree • team captain • named Academic All-Big Ten honoree • earned third varsity letter • finished fourth on the team in 139th place overall (21:43.2) at the NCAA Championships • finished fifth on the team and 22nd overall (21:00) at the NCAA Midwest Region Championships • ran a career-best time of 20:32.60 to place 14th as the second Gopher at the Big Ten Championships • moved into fourth on Minnesota’s all-time 6K list with her time of 20:32.60 • placed ninth overall at the Griak Invitational (21:37.0) • finished as runner-up at the first two meets of the season, the Oz Memorial and the South Dakota State Invitational.
 
2008 Season – Indoor: Named All-Big Ten Second Team honoree in the distance medley relay • NCAA Championships competitor in the distance medley relay • ran lead-off 1,200-meter leg of the distance medley relay team that placed 10th (11:24.73) at the NCAA Championships • led off the runner-up distance medley relay (11:30.11) and finished third in the 800-meter run (2:10.01) at the Big Ten Championships.
 
2008 Season – Outdoor: Named USTFCCCA All-Academic and Academic All-Big Ten honoree • earned third varsity letter • placed ninth in the 1,500-meter run (4:27.97) at the NCAA Midwest Region Championships • also qualified for regionals in the 800-meter run but chose to compete in 1,500 meters • placed fourth in the 800-meter run at the Big Ten Championship with a season-best time of 2:07.14 • ran third leg of Drake Relays champion 4x800-meter relay team • clocked a season-best time of 4:25.77 in 1,500-meter run at Oregon Pepsi Team Invitational.
 
2006 Season – Cross Country: Named All-Midwest Region honoree • named Academic All-Big Ten honoree • earned second varsity letter • received the team’s Comeback Runner of the Year Award • improved to the Gophers’ number four runner during the championship portion of the season • placed 127th (22:21.1) overall at the NCAA Championships, helping the Gophers to an 11th-place team finish • ran a career-best 21:35.62 to place 17th at the NCAA Midwest Region Championships to earn all-region honors • placed 27th (21:55) at the Big Ten Championships • ran at seven meets.
 
2007 Season – Indoor: Named Second Team All-Big Ten honoree in the 800-meter run and distance medley relay • finished as 800-meter runner-up in 2:08.15, the third-fastest time in program history, and led off the runner-up distance medley relay at the Big Ten Championships.
 
2007 Season – Outdoor: Named Academic All-Big Ten honoree • earned second varsity letter • competed at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships in the 800-meter run • earned a sixth-place finish in the 800-meter run (2:09.08) to score at the Big Ten Championships • ran the second-fastest time in school history in the 800-meter run (2:06.55) at the Spec Towns Invitational • ran the third leg on both the 4x800-meter relay and 4x1600-meter relay teams that won Drake Relay titles in record time.
 
2005-06 Season: Redshirted the 2005 cross country season and the 2006 indoor and outdoor track & field seasons.
 
2004 Season – Cross Country: Ran at five meets • captured medalist honors at the UMD Pine Hills Invitational with a season-best 6K time of 22:37.0 • varsity letterwinner.
 
2005 Season – Indoor: Finished her rookie season ranked 10th in program history in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:33.87 at the Parents Day Open • clocked a sub-five minute mile and finished eighth at the Iowa State Classic (4:57.22) • ran a season-best 800-meter time of 2:15.69 to finish 12th at the Husker Invite • led off the distance medley relay team that clocked the third-fastest time in program history (11:41.53).
 
2005 Season – Outdoor: Named USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree • ran the third-fastest 800-meter in program history with a time of 2:08.69 in prelims at the Big Ten Championship • scored at the Big Ten Championship with a fifth-place finish in the 800-meter run (2:11.15) • competed in the 800-meter run at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a time of 2:08.83 during prelims • recorded the team’s fastest time of the season in the 800-meter run • ran the 800-meter leg of the distance medley relay team that set a program record at the Drake Relays (11:26.68) • earned first varsity letter.
 
High School: A 2004 graduate of Perham High School where she ran for coach Jeff Morris • won the 800-meter state title and was a member of the state runner-up 4x800-meter relay team at the 2004 Minnesota Class A State Track & Field Championship • won five-straight conference titles in both the 800-meter and 1,600-meter runs • placed 10th in the 800-meter run at the 2004 adidas Outdoor Track & Field Championships • four-time all-state performer in cross country • posted three top-10 finishes at the Minnesota Class A State Cross Country Championship, topped by a fourth-place finish as a sophomore • team placed 10th 2000 and eighth in 2003 • captured cross country Heart O’Lakes Conference medalist honors all four years of high school • earned varsity letters in track & field, cross country, and basketball.
 
Personal: Born June 25, 1986 • daughter of Kim and Laura Anderson • has four siblings • Political Science and English major • completed her Master of Public Policy, Public & Nonprofit Leadership and Management at the University of Minnesota in 2011.
