Was one of only two Gophers to appear in 57-plus games • held a .296 batting average with 56 hits, including 10 doubles, two triples and three home runs • ranked fifth on the team with 34 RBI • swiped five bases, ranking third on the club, and scored 38 runs • rattled off 23 hits, including three doubles and a home run in Big Ten play • named to the NCAA College Station Regional All-Tournament Team • Academic All-Big Ten. 2015 • SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Played in 47 games, starting 40 in left field and five in center field • had a perfect fielding percentage and two outfield assists • batted .217 with 20 runs and 23 runs batted in • tied for second on the team with four home runs • 5-for-8 on stolen base attempts • Academic All-Big Ten. Game Highlights: Doubled in the season opener at Houston (2/13) • had four hits, one run, two RBIs and a stolen base at Florida Gulf Coast (3/1) • scored the go-ahead run in a 12-inning win at Creighton (3/7) • hit 2-for-3 with an RBI at Creighton (3/8) •walked three times at VCU (3/16) • had two hits and one run at Maryland (3/21) • knocked out his first home run of the season at Maryland (3/22) • homered and notched three RBIs vs. Carleton (4/8) • had a home run and three RBIs vs. Penn State (4/17) • 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs against Michigan (4/25) • homered vs. Kansas State (4/28) • missed the last series of the season with an injury.
2014 • FRESHMAN SEASON:
Started 40 games, making appearances in all three outfield positions • batted .241 in 137 at-bats • strung together a team-best 18-game on-base streak • was 5-for-7 in stolen base attempts • had a .365 on-base percentage in 23 Big Ten games • Academic All-Big Ten. Game Highlights: Walked multiple times in five games • hit 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run vs. Creighton (2/21) • had a career high three walks at Saint Mary's College (3/18) • was 2-for-4 with a double and run scored in the second game of a doubleheader against Northwestern (3/22) • swiped a base and hit in a run in a two hit game against Michigan State (3/19) • in a win over Michigan (4/4), hit in two runs and walked twice • was 3-for-8 with two RBIs in a doubleheader with Penn State (4/26) • hit a double and scored a run in a mid-week matchup against Concordia-Moorhead • hit 2-for-4 with a double at Indiana (5/16).
2013:
Redshirted the season.
SUMMER BASEBALL:
In summer 2014, played for Rochester Honkers of Northwoods League • summer 2013, played for Chaska Cubs.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Member of the Eden Prairie High School Team and Eden Prairie Legion • 2012 team captain for the Eagles • Lions All-Star selection • during the regular season, led the Eagles with a .421 batting average, three home runs and had 13 runs and 11 runs batted in • also a part of the Eden Prairie American Legion National championship team • as a part of the 2011 championship team, batted .369 (31 hits in 84 at-bats) with 18 RBI and was the Eagles' fourth starter in the pitching rotation • In the championship game, hit the game-winning RBI against Tupelo, Miss. • played basketball for two years in high school.
