2011 Junior Season: Redshirted the 2011 Cross Country season

2010 Sophomore Season: Ran a season-best time of 22:32.7 at the Neubauer Invitational • competed at six meets • co-recipient of the team[apos]s Coaches[apos] Award • Academic All-Big Ten

2009 Redshirt Freshman Season: Ran in six races • Gophers[apos] second runner in UWEC Invitational with a season-best time of 23:22.50 • team[apos]s fourth runner in Neubauer Invitational.

2008 Freshman Season: Redshirted the season.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Mukwonago High School • high school coaches were Mike Furlong and Craig Huelsman • three-time all-state performer on the track • ran the anchor leg for the 2008 Wisconsin Division 1 champion 4x800-meter relay • placed third in 800 meters at state in 2007 with a school-record time of 2:14.25 • finished eighth as a senior • three-time Classic 8 Conference champion in the 800 meters • all-conference selection in cross country as a junior and senior • lettered four times in track, twice in both cross country and tennis • a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born March 5, 1990 • majoring in Biology, Society & Enviorment and Genetics Cell Biology & Development • daughter of Wolfgang and Carolyn Ritter • has a older sister, Megan, and a younger brother, Steven • enjoys baking and playing the piano.
